🔽 Installation

Maya

Latest version: Early access 1.0.2 (7)

• Extract the ZIP archive to any folder of your choice
• Open the folder in explorer and drag the file install.py into your Maya viewport
• Restart Maya, you should see a Mimiq shelf

  • Alternatively run this in Maya's Python Script Editor:

    import mimiq
    mimiq.show()

:maya: Starting a session

Open the test scene in /examples/mimiq_blendshape_template.ma

Now open Mimiq via shelf button and hit Connect. Windows may ask for permission to access local network the first time. Choose yes.

Your computers IP gets shown in the bottom center of the window

Enter this IP in the iphone app and hit connect. The first time you need to allow local network and camera access. This connects to the Maya application and already drive the rig live.
