Collection of Face Data

Mimiq Capture collects facial movement data from Apple’s ARKit TrueDepth API, including head pose and blendshape coefficients. The app does not collect or store facial images, depth maps, or biometric identifiers.

Use of Face Data

The collected facial movement data is used solely for real-time animation preview and capture. Processing occurs entirely on the user’s device.

Disclosure of Face Data

Face data is not disclosed to any other party. It remains local to the device during active use.

Sharing of Face Data

Face data is never shared with third parties and is not uploaded to any external services. When streaming is enabled, data is transmitted only to the user’s own configured local-network workstation.

Retention of Face Data

Face data is retained only in volatile memory during active capture. No data is stored after the capture session ends. No logs or backups are kept.
